Reception at the “From the Heart” exhibit

We had less people this time than a year ago, but it was still nice to see what other artists were working on and to talk to them. Mom & Son shared the 2nd place with Anju Bhagavan’s work – can’t recall the title right now…

Magical world of Koldo Barroso

I got to know Koldo’s awesome illustrations and fascinating stories through a fellow web designer, Naomi Niles. She posted links to a few illustrations by her husband in the group we both belong to, and they grabbed me right away.

Koldo’s work is very unique and delightfully magical. It’s a pleasure to walk through his world, look at funny and unusual characters he creates and read their stories. One of the best things I can do after a busy day is coming to his site and forget about the real world for a few moments.
